Throughout the week, students will be participating in special activities dedicated to honoring and appreciating the important role grandparents play in their lives. Like sharing stories to creating heartfelt surprises for you! We're making sure your grandchild has the opportunity to express their love and gratitude.
As a special treat, your grandchild has prepared a sweet surprise that will be arriving in your mailbox very soon! We encourage you to keep an eye out for this token of their affection-it's sure to bring a smile to your day!

*Magic Monday Shoutouts* at Rusk Intermediate are a special weekly tradition where teachers select one student from their class to highlight and celebrate!
Each Monday, these chosen students are recognized for their outstanding behavior, hard work, or other positive contributions in the the classroom. It's a great way to start the week on a positive notes, encouraging students and showcasing their achievements.
The selected students receive recognition during out Magic Monday Meeting, making it a magical start to the week!

This week is National School Counseling Week!
This celebration focuses on the unique contribution that school counselors make within a school and the amazing impact school counselors can have on students success.

Holly Jolly Dress Up Week @ RIS!


4th Grade students will be traveling to SFA on Tuesday, November 14th, to visit the planetarium and enjoy a play preformed by SFA!


Attention parents, for our student's safety, any student who stays after school for tutorials, meetings, or practices are required to be picked up from the front of our campus. You must show your student's pick up tag in order to pick them up from school.

📣 The day we have all been waiting for is finally coming to RIS!
👟WALK A THON!👟
Students will raise atleast $10 each to attend our Walk-A-Thon where they will get to walk the track, hang out with their friends and teachers, play fun games, and buy from the concession stand! It’s going to be a total BLAST and a much needed brain break after working so hard this school year!
Additional donations are welcome, and top contributors will earn bonus fun!
All proceeds will benefit our upcoming incentives, field trips, field day, and water day! 🎉
We can’t wait to see EVERYONE there!

We will kick off our book fair the night of Rocktoberfest, Tuesday October 17th, and it will run until the end of the school day on Thursday, October 19th!
Gift Cards are available online! These work similar to the Scholastic eWallet that you may be familiar with. Loading a gift card online will allow your student to shop at our fair without having to bring cash! (Cash will still be accepted.)
