Rusk Intermediate and GW Bradford Primary are without power due to damage from high winds. The power is not expected to be restored until later tomorrow and therefore both the Intermediate and GW Bradford campuses will be closed on Wednesday March 4th. A donation box is located in the foyer at Rusk Intermediate School. Any student from our campus who participate will receive *3 Class Dojo Points*!

**Toys for Tots is a program run by the US Marine Corps Reserve that collects new, unwrapped toys during the holiday season. These toys are distributed to children in need, aiming to bring joy and hope to families who may not have the means to provide gifts for their kids. The program's mission is to inspire young people and help create a sense of community, one gift at a time!**


The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Rusk Intermediate!!!
Students will be able to preview the fair Monday, October 14th then we will kick off the fair Tuesday, October 15th and will be open through the rest of next week!
Parents and families may visit the fair with their students at Rocktoberfest on Tuesday, October 15th from 5:00PM-6:00PM.
Cash, and all major credit cards will be accepted at our fair.
You may also allow your student to go cashless by setting up an eWallet.

Rusk Intermediate had a full house last night at the Annual Watch D.O.G.S. Kickoff event! It was a fantastic evening for dads, father figures, and their kiddos to come together and learn about this impactful program.
The Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program is a nationwide initiative that encourages fathers and father figures to take an active role in their children's education. By volunteering at the school, they provide positive male role models for students, helping to promote a safe and supportive learning environment.
We're excited to see the positive impact this program will have on our school community this year!
Thank you to the Rusk Intermediate PTO for the delicious pizza and our amazing RIS Dads for showing up and showing out! A special thank you to Mr. Devan Waters for being out guest speaker. His inspiring and energetic speech truly set the tone for an incredible year ahead with out Watch DOGS!
After last night, we're sure our dads are ready to "raise the woof" at Rusk Intermediate!
We're eager to get this year started with out Watch DOGS and see the positivie impact they'll have on our campus!
