Our second graders came together in the hallway for a meaningful and festive activity! After reading The Legend of the Poinsettia, they explored the beautiful Mexican Christmas tradition of Las Posadas.
It’s wonderful to see our students embracing cultural stories and traditions that inspire joy and understanding during this holiday season!
The countdown to Christmas break has begun! Our last day of school will be December 20th, and classes will resume on January 6th.

Our 2nd-grade students had a sweet time celebrating Texas Christmas with Chili Frito Pie at lunch and Blue Bell ice cream and Dr Pepper in thier classrooms! While enjoying these Texas originals, they also learned about their Lone Star State roots and how these iconic products were created right here in Texas.
