🎅🤠 Guess who rode into town? Cowboy Santa and Mrs. Claus visited RES during lunch! They brought the holiday spirit Texas-style, reading the beloved Texas Night Before Christmas to our students. Oh, to see the smiles and hear the laughter as we celebrated with Chili Frito Pie during lunch—Texas style!
🎄🤠 Tonight’s the big night! Texas Christmas has been a long-standing tradition at Rusk Elementary School, but this year, we’re adding a new twist!
🎶 It’s our very first Texas Christmas Singo Bingo!
Dust off your cowboy boots and wear your best western attire for some Texas-sized holiday fun.
We can’t wait to see everyone there for an evening full of music, bingo, and holiday cheer. Let’s make it a Texas Christmas to remember!

We are excited to start a new tradition at Rusk ISD! More information will be sent home with the Kindergarten classes and the Senior class about our Kindergarten /Senior Walk scheduled for Friday, November 1st before the football game. We hope to see you all there!
Important information regarding Thursday night Freshmen and JV games at Athens. Tickets will be sold at the gate ($3/$2 cash or card). Make sure to read over the clear bag policy information that is attached. *Senior Citizen pass will be accepted for Thursday and Friday games at Rusk.
