While your house assignment was recorded by homeroom teachers during the Reveal, wearing your bracelet makes it easy for everyone to spot your house spirit and for us to award points school-wide. On Mondays our students are encouraged to wear a t-shirt from a university or college to promote higher education, including two-year vocational education programs and the military. It’s important to begin discussions about their future aspirations.
Our dream of implementing a campus-wide House System at RES has come true, and the reveal was nothing short of amazing! The excitement was through the roof as our students discovered their house colors, and the energy was contagious. I’m thrilled to see how this initiative will spark intrinsic motivation and foster a stronger sense of community among our students. The journey ahead is bright, and I can't wait to see all the great things we’ll achieve together!

For years, it’s been a vision to create a RES House System, and this year, it’s finally becoming a reality—thanks to the amazing staff who’ve turned this vision into something truly special. They’ve taken my wild ideas, executed them with enthusiasm, and together, we’re ready to shake things up at Rusk Elementary! Join us for a special evening celebrating the wonderful grandparents in our community with "Dinner, Dominoes, and Our Delightful Book Fair!" Bring your grandparents or special guests for a delicious dinner, some fun games of dominoes, and a chance to explore our Scholastic Book Fair together. It’s the perfect way to create memories and share the joy of reading with those who matter most! We can’t wait to see you there!

We’re thrilled to announce that starting Thursday, September 12th, our students can enjoy delicious ice cream treats during lunch! Please bring $1 on Thursdays or money can be added to your students lunch account on Skyward Family Access .
To ensure the safety and well-being of all our students, we kindly remind you of our campus lunch guest policy: ✪Approved Visitors Only: All lunch guests must be approved visitors listed in Skyward Family Access. Please ensure your information is up to date. ✪Designated Seating: Guests are asked to sit in the designated area of the RES Café during lunch. ✪Respecting Privacy: While we love seeing families enjoy lunch together, we ask that you respect the privacy of other students when taking photos. Please avoid posting pictures publicly that include students other than your own. Thank you for helping us keep our RES community safe and respectful! 💙 We look forward to welcoming guest beginning September 3rd once our lunch routines and procedures are in place.
