Support RES FCS Students and County Roads Rescue! Our amazing FCS students are leading a service project to collect pet supplies for County Roads Rescue! 🐕 Let’s show our support for our local rescue and the incredible work they do for animals in need. Thank you for helping our students make a difference!

At RES, we believe in working hard so we can play hard! 💪📚 This week, our students will be MAP testing to measure their academic growth from fall to winter. We’re counting down to winter break with 12 Days of Attendance, celebrating the importance of being here every day! 🎓💼 College & Career Motivational Mondays at RES! 🎉 Every Monday, we celebrate future dreams and career aspirations by wearing our favorite college and career shirts! Whether students see themselves on a university campus or in an exciting career, we’re encouraging everyone to dream big and plan for their bright futures.

🎅Santa’s Coming to RES! 🎄📸 The holidays are just around the corner, and we’re excited to announce that Santa will be visiting RES for a special photo opportunity! Our RES PTO Santa Photo Fundraiser is the perfect way to create magical memories and support our school at the same time!

🎄It’s almost time for our Texas Christmas Singo Bingo event! 🤠 Mark your calendars for a festive evening filled with holiday tunes, bingo fun, and plenty of cheer! 🌟 Join us as we celebrate the season RES style — with music, games, and community spirit. 🎁 Don’t miss out on the chance fellowship, play, and win some great prizes! RES Leadership Team’s Dress the Turkey Contest! Our classrooms had a blast competing in the Dress the Turkey Contest, and the results are in! The class with the most turkey feathers got to see their teacher strut their stuff dressed as a turkey! 1st Place Turkey was Mrs. Brogdon and the students cheered as she strutted her stuff! Turkeys in disguise, top competitors, were Mrs. Berndt, Ms. Jinkins, Mrs. Blankinship, and Mr. Kirkpatrick. But this event was about more than just fun. Together, our school community raised an incredible $521 to support an RES student or family in need this holiday season. Thank you to everyone who participated and donated — your generosity and school spirit make RES such a special place!

🎉 Our Teachers Made the News! Big excitement at RES as our amazing teachers were featured in the news! They were all smiles while receiving a generous book donation from the Rusk Library Study Club. This thoughtful contribution will inspire learning and bring new adventures to our classrooms through books. Thank you, Library Study Club, for investing in our students’ love of reading!
