To celebrate, we’re giving away 100 books to our amazing students! 100 lucky students will be randomly chosen to receive a special book vending machine token to pick out their very own book! Exciting News in Science! 🐜 Something tiny but mighty is coming to our Science rotation class… an ANT FARM! 🏡🐜 Students will get a close-up look at these incredible insects as they work together, build tunnels, and demonstrate teamwork in action. Get ready for an ant-mazing learning experience coming soon!

This February, we honor the incredible contributions of Black artists who have shaped the world of art with their creativity, resilience, and cultural influence. From the bold colors of Jacob Lawrence to the powerful storytelling of Faith Ringgold, Black artists have used their talents to capture history, inspire change, and celebrate identity. At RES, we encourage our students to explore, create, and express themselves through art—just like these trailblazers have done!

🐣 Exciting News from 2nd Grade – Egg Hatching Day 1! 🐣 Our 2nd graders have officially started their egg hatching journey! 🥚They have kicked off this egg-citing experience by observing the eggs and learning about the incubation process. Over the next few weeks, we’ll watch closely as they develop and prepare to hatch! 🐥 Stay tuned for updates—our little scientists can’t wait to meet their chicks! 🐣

🏆 Another Winning Week at 3rd Grade STAAR Super Bowl! 🏆 Our 3rd graders showed up ready to win this week! Each team worked hard, proved their answers, and used smart test-taking strategies to tackle every challenge. A special shoutout to our MVPs who went above and beyond—they earned a special treat and lunch on the stage! Keep up the great work, future champions!

📚🔧 2nd Grade Library STEM Fun! 🔧📚 Our 2nd graders put their left brain to work today during their library rotation! They explored the mechanical side of thinking with hands-on STEM building challenges, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. Watching their ideas come to life was inspiring!
