Our RES school mission and vision statement is more than just words. It's difficult to unify everyone if no one knows what it is. At the end of last school year, we worked collaboratively to revise these words to better reflect our campus by composing a short declaration that exemplifies our shared beliefs and values. We plan to make it a meaningful part of students' lives this year and constantly remind everyone of the student learning goals and school priorities.

Visitors are welcome to the Student Showcase. We have a few simple guidelines that should help make your visit as pleasant, safe, and productive as possible.
We have a great amount of guests signed up to attend the Student Showcase that have not been scanned into our Raptor safety system. We’ve extended the deadline… please understand that this is a must to attend and it needs to be done by Wednesday, May 10th at the latest. We must abide all safety guidelines put into place and there will be no exceptions.
Thank you!

The town square has so much history and so many hidden jewels! The 2nd grade teachers created a walking tour map, contacted local businesses, set up tours and embarked on an educational journey with their students Downtown Rusk on Wednesday to get to know the stories behind the old buildings and better understand the careers offered in our community. We ❤️ our hometown and love how welcoming all the local businesses were in hosting our students. It was a meaningful day of learning.

Rusk Elementary School invites you to an Year-End Student Showcase to acknowledge the accomplishments of our students throughout the school year. Students may invite two guests to attend.
